21-year-old Abhilasha Roy is a Communication Design degree student at the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology in Mumbai. Having interned with Times of India as a writer and photographer, Lokusdesign, Pune as a Graphic Design intern and Channel [v] as a Graphic Intern she has had an early start to a great client list.
Madly in love with photography since the age of 14, Abhilasha has created some really good work. Here are few images from a project called Synesthete in Bombay, a non-factual photo-art project that explores a synesthete’s perspective of the city.
Abhilasha also has an obsession for illustration, storytelling, graphic design and wall art. She has just completed an illustrated book called Jude Lonely that talks of a mentally disturbed young man who finds friends in inanimate objects. Here is a glimpse:
