A few of my favourite things…. by Fashion & Textile designer Karishma Shahani

Fashion & textile designer Karishma Shahani graduated last year with many awards including, Graduate 100’s ‘Fashion Graduate of the Year 2010’. Her designs are an eccentric combination of experimental and unconventional with  modern functionality. Today she guest blogs for OIO and tells us a bit about herself….

I am a colour enthusiast, traveller, obsessive collector, craft promoter and a social gatherer here are a few facts about me…

Favourite Restaurant
Cavalla, Goa; Darios, Pune and Ping Pong, LondonFavourite Design Event

TED Global – for its mix of fields where everyone is innovating, creating and in their own unique ways designing.

Favourite Books

Favourite Project I’ve worked on.
I am partial to all of them. Equality and love to all. A new project ensures its position as a favourite to be lost when the next exciting one comes along, like now. Currently our new A\W 2011 collection Kranti.

Look out for Karishma Shahani’s Kranti…… coming to SOIO on the 28/09/2011.
