Animation Film Designer Srinivas Bhakta studied Visual Communication and Graphic Design at the prestigious National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India and graduated with specialization in Animation Design.
So far Srinivas has created six films and is currently working on another short named “Frog in a well”. His films have been screened in prestigious film festivals like Annecy, Hiroshima, Animamundi to name a few. Winner of many international awards, his latest film “My Father is a Washerman” won First Prize at Singapore Digicon and his film “Elephant OK” won the Silver Award at the Singapore International film festival. This film was also turned into a children’s book published by Puffin, New Zealand.

Srinivas has been teaching subjects related to animation film making for more than a decade now and mainly teaches Animation Fundamentals, Story Boarding and Design Fundamentals. He is Currently teaching at the School of Interactive and Digital media, Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore.
