Tele-commandments: for a cathodic soul

Divya Raman graduated from London College of Fashion with an MA in womenswear Digital Fashion. Before her MA, Divya has worked as a Prêt-a-Porter womenswear designer for a leading design house on international sport and street brands including Levi Strauss & co., Orsay and FILA. She was a finalist in Project Runway India and was subsequently invited to showcase at Lakme Fashion Week.

While studying for her MA, Divya created and launched her design label FMCG (Fast Moving Collectible Goods). FMCG merges fashion and digital art through an original and unconventional approach to garment creation. Her debut collection ‘Tele-commandments: for a cathodic soul‘ explores graphic narratives by the fusion of lenticular animation and digital textile print. The pieces were created in collaboration with the innovative print firm Riot of Colour, London.  Here are a few of her designs:





Divya recently collaborated with ‘The Creative Archives‘, Milan and her work is currently retailing at Browns Focus, Dover St; Boon the Shop in Seoul, alongside other boutiques worldwide.
