Designer Craft

Designer Tejas Zinzuwadia graduated from the Indian Institute of Crafts & Design, Jaipur. Coming from a family of goldsmiths, metal and its various forms have always been a part of his life.  He is highly inspired by the discreet forms of nature and the valued craft traditions of India.

Tejas was awarded the FORHEX Award (2007 – 08) for “Best Innovation in Crafts” and the Living etc New Designer Award 2010 in association with RSA in India for “Innovative Application of Existing Material”.  Apart from this his work are regularly featured in prestigious magazines like Living Etc and Varta (an art education magazine for contemporary Indian crafts). Tejas runs his company called Tejas Soni Design (TSD) through which he aims to bring crafts, parallel to the world of design.

    such intricate designs done to perfection!! i couldn take my eyes off the first and third design…awe-inspiring work Tejas and thank you Nisha for introducing him!!
