Graphic designer Rochelle Motha has been drawing, painting and doodling since childhood. Inspired by Van Gogh for the use of colour and Rodin for the purity of human form, her paintings are a combination of shades, stark contrasts of black and white, enhanced with the occasional streak of vibrant colour.
Her collection “Good Truth” is described as a display of painful poetry, portraying deep relationships while fearlessly challenging the superficial world of norms. Here are a few paintings from the collection.
Having had her first solo exhibition in Sri Lanka, Rochelle is currently in the process of organising her next exhibition in London, where she lives. To enjoy more of Rochelle’s poetic paintings click here.
