Designer, Illustrator and Educator Neha Agarwal is passionate about teaching, learning and all things visual. Although she was born and brought up in the US, she is obsessed with Indian textiles, and uses them quite creatively and often in her designs and illustration.
Here are a few of her recent and gorgeous illustrations for a children’s book called ‘When Elephants Could Fly‘:
These illustrations created using a collage of Indian textiles and hand drawings received an Honourable Mention at the AIGA Centre for Cross-Cultural Design Competition 2009.
Neha also created a foldout map that highlights the Hindu temples and attractions throughout the city of Philadelphia, which was exhibited in the Philadelphia Design Experiment 2005. Here is a glimpse of it.
