Delightful Monsters and Cool Indian Folk Art

Mumbai-based Art Director Siddhi Yadav loves exploring and experimenting with new Indian folk art styles. After graduating from the Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai with a Diploma in Applied Art  and a major in Illustration, Siddhi chose a career in advertising. Besides working in the advertising industry, she enjoys teaching art to children and creating sand art in her free time.

Siddhi recently received her first Gold at the London International Awards 2010 for Designing a Point-of-Sale. Earlier, she was awarded the Young Achiever of the Year – Design & The Young Achiever of the Year – Art Director at the ACB Young Achievers Award 2009 and was short listed at the D&AD 2009 for her illustration work “Monsters Ink – Fedrigoni”. Her illustrations for the “Mahathanda – cooling oil” campaign were also recognized with three Silvers at the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival 2009(Adfest 2009) in Pattaya, Thailand for Print Craft – Best use of Illustration category. Here are the winning illustrations:

Siddhi currently works as an Art Director at McCann Worldgroup, Mumbai.
