Calcutta-born illustrator and designer Nidhi Chanani migrated to Southern California when she was very young. She started drawing very early on in life and has created a lot of character sketches through years of sketching. It was only recently though that she started to draw the characters interacting and that is when art as a profession truly came together.
Nidhi loves the way art interacts with people and make us feel alive. Her drawings have a dreamy, happy and charming feel to them and in many of them you can find a glimpse of her multicultural life.
Nidhi has published her comics in the ‘India Currents’ and ‘City Masala’ magazines. Currently, she is working on a graphic novel/memoir, which she is hoping to finish and unravel to the world next year.
