A ‘Deluge’ of Awesome Art

At the age of 4, Delwyn Remedios created his first drawing, inspired by the city fair he had been to and has never looked back since then. From grafitti art and painting on the streets of Mumbai to experimenting with different forms of animation, he loves it all. Winner of many international awards  for his group films and independent films, his latest achievement is a Best Director award for his diploma film ‘Deluge‘ at the Asian Youth Animation & Comics Contest(China) 2010. Here is the much appreciated film.

Other than conducting workshops in Art, Design and Animation at various educational institutes like St Stanislaus High School, St Andrews College, The Animation Society of Kolkata, The Animation society of India (Anifest) and Maharaja Sayajirao University of  Baroda, Delwyn has also volunteered as an Art teacher at Akanksha, an NGO for street children.

Working under the brand name Remedios Designs, his clients include Mumbai Festival, Celebrate Bandra, McCann Ericson, St Andrews College and Zoom TV. Here are a few awesome illustrations he created for the Mumbai Festival 2009.
